Pura Vida, translated from Spanish, means “pure life.”
I learned this expression in the far-away tropical country of Costa Rica. Local people greet each other, say goodbye or wish a pleasant day very simply – “Pura Vida!”
People in this country understood the true meaning of a measured, calm and unhurried life.
Pura Vida means: do not get hung up on problems, rejoice in every day, create beauty around you. And remember: you need to enjoy that,
what are you doing. Only then will you fulfill what you dream of.
I am very close to this lifestyle. It even seems to me that I used to live like this before, but I did not know the name. And in Costa Rica just felt. Because there is everything for inspiration: lots of sun, diverse nature and people who always smile affably. And you are originally good for them, until you prove the opposite. It does not matter what nationality you are, skin color, physique, how you dress, what you do – they respect someone else’s choice.
Someone, for sure, needs a different environment for happiness, and that’s fine:
we are all different. But I want to say: to find or create such conditions, in which you will be comfortable – it is not difficult. For this, it is not necessary to move to Costa Rica or somewhere else. The main thing is to realize what you dream about!
Pura vida – the slogan of my blog and the style of life to which I aspire to!
